Termite treatment that protects the foundation
Northridge Pest Control treats active subterranean termite infestations and protects homes across Dallas and nearby cities with liquid barriers and bait systems.
How serious are termites in North Texas?
Subterranean termites are the most common and most costly wood pest in North Texas. They live in the soil, travel up through cracks in the slab or along plumbing penetrations, and build mud tubes to reach wood. Most homeowners first notice a spring swarm of winged termites near a window, usually on a warm morning after rain in March or April.
We confirm the activity, measure the foundation and recommend one of two approaches. A liquid treatment puts a continuous treated zone in the soil around the slab and at plumbing and expansion joints. A bait system places monitored stations in the ground around the house. Both come with a written warranty that renews each year with an inspection.
When to call us
- Winged swarmers or shed wings on a windowsill in spring
- Pencil-width mud tubes on the slab, garage wall or pier
- Baseboards or door frames that sound hollow or crumble
- A WDI report from a home sale showing active termites

How do I keep termites away after treatment?
Keep soil, mulch and firewood off the slab and away from siding, fix leaking hose bibs and AC drain lines, and keep gutters draining away from the house. Do not dig or regrade along the foundation without calling us first, since that can break the treated zone.
Common questions
As a sample price, Northridge Pest Control treats a typical Dallas home for subterranean termites from $1,250 for a liquid soil treatment. The final price depends on the length of the foundation and is quoted in writing after inspection.
