What is a WDI inspection in Texas?
A WDI (wood destroying insect) inspection is a visual check for termites, carpenter ants, wood-boring beetles and the conditions that invite them. When a home is sold in Texas with a mortgage, lenders usually require a WDI report on the official Texas form, completed by a business licensed by the Texas Department of Agriculture Structural Pest Control Service.
